SOMEWHERE was created from a simple idea: every meaningful object, place, and story begins somewhere.

Founded by architect and curator Rafaela Grillo, SOMEWHERE is a collection of photographs, objects, and discoveries gathered through travel, architecture, culture, and design.

Born in Brazil and shaped by experiences across different countries and cities, Rafaela developed a unique perspective influenced by architecture, materials, landscapes, and the character of the places she encounters.

Every photograph presented by SOMEWHERE is personally captured by Rafaela during her travels. Rather than documenting destinations, her work explores the details that often go unnoticed: the geometry of a historic structure, the rhythm of light across stone, the texture of a façade, or the atmosphere of a place at a specific moment in time.

Architecture remains at the heart of the collection. Many of the images focus on iconic landmarks, sacred spaces, coastal landscapes, and architectural compositions that reveal the relationship between form, light, and human experience.

Alongside photography, SOMEWHERE curates a selection of objects and pieces sourced from different parts of the world, each chosen for its craftsmanship, character, and connection to place.
